"Misleading wording and not worth the price"
The lessons themselves were fine, but I felt like the wording made it sound like I’d be getting more support than I actually did. For what I paid, the help was limited, so it ended up feeling overpriced. Not the worst experience, but definitely not great value.

"I’ll be honest, the college counseling was helpful..."
I’ll be honest, the college counseling was helpful. Like, I went in feeling a little overwhelmed and thinking, okay, where do I even start? They gave solid guidance and helped make the whole process feel less chaotic. That said, it is kind of pricey, and I definitely had a moment of, hmm, is this worth it? Overall, I’d say it was useful, just something to budget for

The tutor did help me with my homework, which I appreciated, but I was a bit confused sometimes because the replies took longer than I expected. It worked out in the end, though

"Sooo, I didn’t really get much out of it"
I gave Avantgarde Prep a try for a few weeks, and honestlyyy, it just didn’t really work for me. The tutor was nice and all, but the lessons felt rushed, and a lot of the explanations stayed kinda on the surface. I kept hoping it would start clicking, but I didn’t feel much more prepared after the sessions. Just wasn’t worth it for meee.
"Didn't feel very professional..."
The whole experience felt a bit rushed... like they were trying to get through it quickly rather than really taking the time. It just didn’t come across as very professional overall.

"Pretty helpful overall, right?"
The resources helped me a lot, honestly. There were a few gaps here and there, but overall I thought it was good stuff. I’m not the only one who felt that way, right?
"Pretty good for the most part"
It helped me get ready and I did feel more prepared after using it. Some parts was kinda rushed though, like I wish they slowed down a bit in a few spots. But overall, it was still good.

"Pricing felt hidden"
The pricing wasn’t clear until I was already far into the process, which was frustrating. It also feels like the whole thing works when it wants to, so between that and the surprise costs, I wasn’t too impressed.

"It was hard to find a time..."
It was hard to find a time that worked for me. I asked if we could move sessions around a bit since my work schedule changes a lot, but there really wasn’t much wiggle room. Felt like I had to work around their openings instead of them being flexible at all. They weren’t rude or anything, just didn’t really fit what I needed schedule-wise

"We tried AvantGarde Prep it just..."
We tried AvantGarde Prep it just didn’t really click for us. The lessons felt kind of flat, and my student seemed checked out quickly. I kept waiting for more interaction or just... some kind of check-in to make sure they were actually following along, but it felt a little like they were just moving through the material. Maybe it’s a better fit for other students, I don’t know, but for us it didn’t do much and my student lost interest fast.

"Kinda didn’t get the help I needed"
I reached out for support with my application, but it wasn’t much help for me. I was kinda hoping for clearer guidance or more useful answers.

"Honestly, super helpful support"
I reached out not really sure what to expect, but they got back to me quickly and, yeah, actually helped me figure everything out without making it a hassle. Really appreciated how easy they made it...

"The tutors really knew their stuff"
Our tutor definitely knew the exams inside and out and explained things in a way that actually clicked for my son. There were a few little scheduling hiccups here and there, which was a bit annoyinggg, but overall it was a solid experience

"I tried AvantGardePrep for essay coaching..."
I tried AvantGardePrep for essay coaching, i came away disappointed. The feedback on my draft felt really generic, almost like the kind of advice you could find from a quick search online. A few of my questions also felt like they were answered in a rush, which made the whole thing feel less helpful than I expected.
For the price, I was hoping for more specific guidance on my actual essay and my story. Instead, it mostly felt like they were just telling me to make it more personal without really helping me figure out how. Has anyone else had the same experience with them? I don’t think I’d use the service again.

"Responses were a little slow"
They did get back to me, but sometimes it took a few days. Once they replied, they were helpful enough, so it wasn’t a huge issue, just a bit slow

"Helpful roadmap, but you may need to tweak it"
I mainly used Avant Garde Prep for the study plan, it did help me get started. When you’re staring at a big exam with no idea where to begin, having some kind of structure makes a difference.
That said, reading between the lines, it felt like the plan assumed you’d already know how to balance certain topics or why they were in that order. Some weeks were smooth, but others felt really crammed, so I ended up moving things around to make it work for me.
Overall, I’d say it’s decent if you just need a basic roadmap and don’t want to build one from scratch. Just don’t expect it to be perfectly tailored right out of the box.

"Pretty reliable, but the process could be clearer"
Overall, it worked fine most of the time, but there were a couple of delays that were a bit frustrating. I also had to follow up once because I wasn’t really sure what the next steps were or if I was supposed to be waiting on something. It wasn’t a terrible experience, just not as smooth or consistent as I’d hoped. 3 stars feels fair
"Decent help, but not the outcome we wanted"
My kid did end up getting into two schools, which we definitely appreciate, but they weren’t the top choices we were really hoping for. The support we got was okay overall and nothing went wrong, but I can’t say I was blown away. Personally, I’d call it a decent experience, just not amazing.

"Didn't really build much confidence"
I was hoping the sessions would help my kid feel more sure of themselves, but they still seemed unsure afterward. Maybe it works better for others, but for us it just felt...

"Decent tracking, but I’m not totally sure it was worth it"
The progress tracking is helpful, and I do like being able to see my scores over time. That said, it sometimes feels a little off, and the updates after each session aren’t as clear as I expected. I kind of wish I’d looked around more before buying, because it’s good, but not quite what I hoped for.
